Getting ALL of the Money in the Room

People give money for a variety of reasons. In gala giving what motivates a donor via one revenue stream may not apply in another. Are you appealing to all of your donor's desires? Until you do you will leave all kinds of potential in a donor's wallet--and not directed toward the cause you work so hard for. In this session you will learn how variety really is the spice of a gala's life and the importance it plays in attaining the money your attendees came to give!

Get answers to these questions: 

  • Why do some people love silent auctions but not bid in the live auction?
  • Why is it that some raffles rock while others fizzle?
  • Do instant buys and sign-up sheets generate more money?
  • How do I engage my guests before they enter the ballroom?

You will walk away from this interactive and fun class with a list of great revenue generators proven to raise more money.


A short break is incorporated in the class.  Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
